Privijanje vijakov, vezava električnih napeljav, odkrivanje elektronskih napak v vozilu, to je le nekaj veščin, ki so jih mladi mehaniki morali čim bolje obvladati, če so se želeli uvrstiti čim višje. Na srednji poklicni in strokovni šoli Bežigrad je namreč potekalo mednarodno tekmovanje dijakov, ki so se preizkusili tako v teoretičnem kot praktičnem znanju. Udeleženci so prišli iz osmih držav.
